Medical Assistant — Outpatient Clinic

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Elgin, AR, with a schedule Monday through Friday and a 21-week duration. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. The position supports front- and back-office operations in an outpatient clinical setting serving patients aged 2 and older. This role helps providers deliver efficient patient care by preparing and rooming patients, completing clinical procedures and documentation, and coordinating administrative tasks and clinic workflows.

What you'll do

• Greet, room, and prepare patients
• schedule appointments and direct calls
• record vital signs and medical information
• perform phlebotomy and venipuncture, assist with laboratory procedures, administer vaccines, perform point-of-care testing, and assist with EKGs as needed
• maintain electronic medical records
• support front-office operations and fee collection
• collaborate with providers and staff
• follow clinic policies and confidentiality standards.
