The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, General Aviation Piston Fleet role is onsite in Austin, TX. Pay is $25–$33 per hour. The Austin facility maintains light piston aircraft, including Cirrus platforms, with a focus on safe, airworthy aircraft. The mechanic performs front-line maintenance across the aircraft care lifecycle, helping keep the fleet flight-ready through inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, accurate maintenance records, and return-to-service sign-offs. An active, unencumbered FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and hands-on general aviation piston aircraft maintenance experience are required.

What you'll do

• Conduct airframe and engine inspections in line with FAA requirements and OEM schedules
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic discrepancies
• service and overhaul piston powerplants and related systems
• document maintenance, work orders, and FAA airworthiness releases
• follow safety and quality controls
• coordinate with hangar technicians.
