What you'll do

• Inspect material and existing packaging for shipment readiness
• identify and correct packaging deficiencies
• apply applicable military, Department of Defense, Army, ASTM, technical, and contract requirements
• fabricate, modify, and repair crates, boxes, skids, pallets, braces, and supports
• pack and secure material using preservation, cushioning, blocking, bracing, and containerization methods
• inspect completed packages and containers
• verify markings, labels, and shipment documentation
• coordinate unusual or technically complex requirements with supporting personnel.
