CNC Turning and Milling Specialist, GD&T and First-Piece Inspection

The CNC Turning and Milling Specialist role is onsite in Madison, NH, and pays $20–$40 per hour. Senior Metal Bellows makes custom-engineered metal bellows and precision components for aerospace, defense, energy, and other high-spec markets. The specialist operates and sets up CNC equipment to produce precision parts that meet technical drawings and customer quality requirements. Through inspection, troubleshooting, and process refinement, the role helps maintain safe, accurate production while reducing cycle time and scrap.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment
• interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
• select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds
• perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision measurement tools
• adjust machine settings or on-control programs to troubleshoot issues
• refine processes to reduce cycle time and scrap while maintaining quality
• align production output with schedules and customer standards.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of machining experience. Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar controls is preferred.
