What you'll do

• Greet customers and guide them through product selection
• check out samples or schedule measurements using established procedures
• work with estimators on bids and follow up with customers
• enter orders, assign available inventory, initiate special orders, and set transfer dates
• maintain open orders and quotes
• keep the sales area, showroom, warehouse, and property clean and organized. Some salespeople may also perform warehouse duties depending on the store.
