What you'll do

  • Monitor an assigned group of residents and conduct frequent checks
  • assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, and eating
  • respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells
  • maintain clean resident rooms and work areas
  • provide companionship and emotional support
  • engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities
  • notify a supervisor or health care coordinator of increased care needs.
