School Psychologist – Hybrid

Job overview

The School Psychologist role is hybrid in Upper Marlboro, MD, and pays $50–$80 per hour. Pediatric Developmental Services provides pediatric therapists, including school psychologists, to public school districts, charter schools, and communities. The psychologist supports students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs through counseling, team collaboration, and participation in individualized education planning. The role also helps families and school staff coordinate services and maintain required records and timelines.

What you'll do

• Provide counseling to students and parents
• participate in multi-tiered support and interdisciplinary meetings
• participate in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate
• collaborate with and coach families and staff
• follow recordkeeping, eligibility, timeline, and procedural-safeguard requirements
