Veterinary Technician Student Externship is an onsite opportunity in Seattle, WA; it is unpaid. The externship provides veterinary technology students with hands-on exposure to emergency medicine under the mentorship of credentialed veterinary technicians. Participants learn through shadowing and assisting across triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, outpatient visits, and inpatient care while practicing school-required skills.

What you'll do

• Learn from emergency veterinary professionals
• pair with a credentialed veterinary technician for mentoring
• shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care
• practice skills on the school proficiency checklist with guidance.
