Senior Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer is an onsite role in Cincinnati, OH, with a stated rate of $75–$85 per hour on a W-2 basis. The engineer works with a client to build scalable platforms and production machine-learning systems across the end-to-end lifecycle. The role enables model development, deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement by building reusable platforms and automated workflows. It partners with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to make production ML systems reliable, observable, and maintainable.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, deploy, and manage production machine-learning solutions
• build reusable platforms for development, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
• implement model versioning, experimentation tracking, governance, and reproducibility
• develop batch and real-time inference frameworks
• optimize performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost
• build automated CI/CD/CT pipelines
• automate testing, validation, deployment, rollback, and retraining
• establish infrastructure as code
• support feature stores and data pipelines
• monitor model performance, data quality, and drift
• establish alerting and incident management
• support governance, security, compliance, auditability, explainability, and documentation
• collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
