Millwork Truck Driver

The Millwork Truck Driver role is onsite in Boise, ID; compensation is not specified. Boise Cascade distributes building materials and manufactures wood products, and this role delivers finished doors to customers. The driver transports door units and related products safely and without damage, maintains required vehicle and Department of Transportation records, and keeps the truck in safe operating condition. The role also supports loading and unloading as needed and reports vehicle issues and customer questions to a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Deliver and distribute finished doors to assigned customers
• safely load, handle, secure, transport, and deliver products
• drive in compliance with commercial driving regulations
• complete paperwork and relay customer questions or complaints
• inspect and report truck condition
• maintain the vehicle and applicable DOT logs and records
• assist with loading and unloading as needed
• maintain a clean truck and orderly work area.

Why this role

Requires a valid Class A commercial driver’s license, two years of truck driving experience, and a high school diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience. Flatbed experience is preferred; building-products knowledge and forklift experience are a plus.
