The Industrial Maintenance & Reliability Technician role is onsite at Premier Candle Corporation’s manufacturing operation in Hickory, KY. Pay is $32–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications; a $2-per-hour shift premium applies to those hired for nights. Premier Candle manufactures scented candles and home fragrance products and is investing in equipment modernization, automation, infrastructure, and people. The technician maintains and improves manufacturing equipment to support safe, reliable, efficient production. The role works with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to prevent failures, address recurring problems, and improve equipment performance.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• maintain motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, compressors, valves, and related equipment
• troubleshoot 120–480V equipment within safety procedures and qualifications
• perform preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance
• investigate recurring failures and implement corrective actions
• document work in a CMMS
• support automation, upgrades, installations, and process improvements
• follow Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety requirements.

Why this role

Two openings are available on day and night shifts. Day shift is 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; night shift is 4:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. Schedules vary by peak and non-peak season, and occasional early arrival or approximately one extra hour onsite may be required. At least five years of industrial maintenance or related experience is required.
