Lay-Up Operator

The Lay-Up Operator role is onsite in Fort Totten, ND. Pay is $19.47 per hour. The position supports production at Sioux Manufacturing, following documented work instructions and quality standards to convert sheeted material into molded products. The operator prepares and aligns materials, performs lay-up and molding steps, monitors equipment and product characteristics, and documents traceability so completed parts can be reviewed by Quality Assurance.

What you'll do

• Follow work orders and documented processes
• inspect and prepare caul sheets
• identify required materials
• stack, align, and stage sheeted material
• prepare lay-up tables
• lay up material for molding
• complete paperwork and panel markings
• operate oven controls as instructed
• unload caul sheets and panels
• measure and record characteristics
• inspect equipment and materials
• submit completed parts to Quality Assurance
• maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area.

Why this role
