What you'll do

  • Schedules and prioritizes orders through cells.
  • Distributes schedules and shop orders to appropriate cells.
  • Reviews in-process defect sheets and records totals.
  • Posts quality and delivery data on cell boards.
  • Reviews the demand exception report daily.
  • Reviews and posts monthly, weekly, and daily service level results.
  • Handles shortage, rush, and special production issues.
  • Provides performance appraisal input to supervisors.
  • Provides corrective actions for operator error.
  • Maintains the integrity and accuracy of the cell takt time boards.
