The executive joins Optimal Balance Pharmacy’s leadership team and reports directly to ownership, supporting the company’s national growth as a compounding pharmacy operation. The role builds the operational structure, systems, leadership capacity, and technology needed to scale pharmacy operations. It oversees operational functions including fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory, and procurement, while partnering with existing Compounding, Quality, Regulatory, and Pharmacist-in-Charge leaders to support growth within strong compliance and quality practices.

What you'll do

• Lead operational leaders across pharmacy operations support, fulfillment, shipping, inventory, procurement, and related functions
• build scalable structures and accountability
• establish KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and management systems
• improve throughput, turnaround time, labor efficiency, capacity, inventory, service levels, and cost
• identify bottlenecks and root causes
• develop staffing and capacity plans
• recruit and develop leaders
• lead continuous improvement
• partner with Technology and IT on automation and systems
• support facility expansions and equipment installations
• strengthen inventory, purchasing, and supply-chain processes
• develop operating plans, budgets, and capital requirements
• partner with Quality and Regulatory leadership.
