What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines
• record treatment time according to policy
• secure and store drugs and biologicals properly
• notify physicians about refusals, non-compliance, resident responses, and adverse reactions
• maintain clean medication carts, refrigerators, and rooms
• assist with orientation and training of nursing personnel as required
• implement and supervise infection-control, universal-precaution, and safety procedures.
