Fleet Mechanic

The Fleet Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Aurora, CO, with a pay range of $32.00 to $38.00 per hour. The primary purpose of this role is to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and reefers. The mechanic will diagnose issues, document repairs using fleet software, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

What you'll do

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Receive road calls and coordinate with third-party vendors.
• Document equipment repair and parts usage via tablet software.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
