The role exists to design new products, improve existing products, manage development projects, and perform testing for qualification and proof of product integrity. The engineer will collaborate within a cross-functional team to meet customer milestones.

What you'll do

• Design and develop new products based on customer specifications.
• Interact with designers and drafters to layout new designs.
• Perform product analysis calculations.
• Manage project objectives, schedules, and costs.
• Communicate with customers regarding product inquiries.
• Develop test methods and procedures.
• Analyze test results and prepare project reports.
• Identify suppliers for new component parts.
• Build prototype models.
• Apply DFM/DFA to products.
• Analyze failure modes and establish reliability plans.
