What you'll do

• Assess patient nutrition needs using patient history, medical records, measurements, laboratory data, and clinical findings
• determine nutrition diagnoses
• implement individualized nutrition interventions, including food or nutrient delivery, education, counseling, and care coordination
• monitor intake, tolerances, and outcomes
• collaborate with health care providers
• educate patients and families
• document services in medical records
• develop and conduct education programs
• participate in projects and committees
• supervise and mentor dietetic interns or students
• liaise with culinary wellness and foodservice departments.
