Cashier and Sales Associate

Job overview

The Cashier and Sales Associate role is onsite in Elm City, NC, part-time, with pay of $12–$14 per hour. GPM Investments operates retail stores where associates help keep the store clean, inviting, and running smoothly for customers. The role exists to support store sales and customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store and pump area. Associates operate the register, assist customers, verify age for regulated sales, stock merchandise, clean facilities and pumps, and follow safety procedures; weekend and holiday availability is required.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately
• handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in compliance with age-verification requirements
• provide service and upsell
• clean restrooms, pumps, store, and lot
• remove trash
• stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed
• follow safety procedures and company policies.
