Utility Locator

The Utility Locator is an onsite role based in Twinsburg, OH. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the Locator team in ensuring safe and efficient construction projects. This role is responsible for marking standard and complex underground utilities with flags and paint to help ensure projects are safe and efficient, while responding promptly to excavation notices.

What you'll do

• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground utilities
• Read utility maps
• Document all locates
• Respond promptly to excavation notices
• Communicate with excavators and utility representatives
• Troubleshoot difficult locates
• Dig lightly with a shovel when necessary.
