What you'll do

• Assess nutritional needs and dietary restrictions and develop individualized dietary-care plans with current health plans
• counsel patients and families on diet modifications, food selection, and preparation
• educate individuals and groups on nutrition and healthy eating
• inspect meals for prescribed-diet compliance and quality
• coordinate recipe development, standardization, and menu planning
• recommend nutrition policy and meal-program improvements
• complete documentation and chart entries and attend meetings as needed
• provide in-person and remote counseling
• maintain training and HIPAA compliance
• travel for patient visits.
