What you'll do

• Lead estimating from project pursuit through final bid submission and turnover
• interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes, and bid documents
• develop budgets, estimates, cost analyses, proposals, and bid packages
• develop bidding strategies
• perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project costs
• solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids
• identify scope gaps, risks, and savings opportunities
• coordinate estimates and deadlines
• participate in meetings and site visits as required
• guide estimating resources and mentor junior staff
• lead turnover meetings
• maintain records and improve estimating processes.
