Building Services Technician

Job overview

The Building Services Technician role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO; compensation is $16–$20 per hour. The technician supports SARA, a defense research and development enterprise creating technology innovations for commercial and government organizations. The role keeps the building clean, orderly, safe, and operational through janitorial work, minor maintenance, security checks, and assistance with equipment and facility needs. This support helps maintain the environment used by the company’s engineers, physicists, and technicians.

What you'll do

• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and manufacturing spaces
• escort visitors as needed
• monitor building security and safety
• perform minor building and equipment repairs
• assist with machinery assembly, installation, or repair
• notify the manager of major repair needs
• requisition cleaning and maintenance supplies.
