Pump Truck Driver/Operator — Class A or B CDL

The Pump Truck Driver/Operator role is onsite in Boone, NC, and pays an estimated $24–$26 per hour. The position offers a day shift with early starts around 6:00–7:00 AM. Wind River Environmental provides services for non-hazardous liquid waste systems, including septic tanks and grease traps. The role pumps and disposes of non-hazardous waste from residential and commercial septic systems using a company service truck and vacuum equipment. The driver-technician completes inspections and paperwork, follows safety and DOT requirements, and provides customer service and system-care information in the field.

What you'll do

• Operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks
• complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• educate customers on system care
• identify and report defective components or hazards and recommend service options
• submit required paperwork
• respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed
• follow company safety protocols and DOT regulations.

Why this role
