Radio Frequency Service Technician

The Radio Frequency Service Technician role is onsite in Ocala, FL, with field work supporting customers throughout Florida. Compensation is not specified. The role installs, maintains, optimizes, and supports communications equipment and systems. By troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining radio, network, and antenna infrastructure, the technician helps customers keep critical communications systems operational.

What you'll do

• Support and optimize communications systems
• work with P25, LMR RF, wired and wireless systems, networking equipment, IT networks, and subscriber equipment
• install mobile radios in vehicles and equipment racks
• run building cables
• remove and install exterior antenna systems
• participate in large-scale preventive maintenance checks
• configure and test Motorola two-way radios and subscriber products
• maintain required background-check eligibility and clean driving record
• provide customer support and resolve problems.
