The Machine Tool Service Technician — Shop & Field role is an onsite, full-time position based in Schiller Park, IL, with shop work and customer-site service. The role also supports customers through service visits, phone assistance, demonstrations, and operator training.

What you'll do

• Prepare machines for shipment
• uncrate, assemble, power up, inspect, and test equipment
• complete written inspection and service reports
• install machinery and assist with startups
• perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs
• provide customer technical support
• conduct demonstrations and operator training
• document service work
• maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
