Day Care Teacher

Job overview

The Day Care Teacher role is onsite in South Easton, MA, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. Pay is $17.00–$22.00 per hour. The Learning Experience's stated mission is to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing, engaging classroom where children can play and learn. Through the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, classroom leadership, and regular communication with families, the role supports children's development and a love of learning while contributing to center enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced classroom teachers
• manage a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to their needs
• communicate children's progress and achievements to parents
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals.

Why this role

At least six months of professional teaching experience and a high school diploma or GED are required. An associate degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field, one year of teaching experience, and CPR and first aid certification are preferred.
