What you'll do
- Float between assigned locations
- escort patients and obtain vital signs, allergies, and medication lists
- assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests
- perform authorized phlebotomy, specimen collection, and lab processing
- stock, clean, and sanitize exam rooms
- document patient data in the EMR
- follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
- communicate coverage needs and priorities.
