• Support die construction and tooling analysis
• improve process yields using data analysis techniques like Six Sigma and DOE
• interface with tooling vendors
• control dimensional quality
• develop internal job instructions
• evaluate new process technologies
• document procedures
• audit production lots
• improve labor utilization.
