Critical Facility Technician I, Data Center

The Critical Facility Technician I role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with pay of $24–$30 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains cyber-physical solutions for mission-critical facilities and complex infrastructure. The technician monitors facility equipment and conditions, performs inspections, and responds to faults to help minimize system downtime. The role also supports the installation and testing of data hall racks and follows safety, maintenance, and emergency-response procedures.

What you'll do

• Attend daily maintenance meetings
• update computerized maintenance management systems
• power, bond, level, move, and inspect data hall rack equipment
• inspect equipment
• respond to incidents and instrument failures
• perform monthly emergency operating procedure drills
• complete required safety and equipment training
• conduct risk assessments before maintenance.
