The Maintenance Technician — 2nd & 3rd Shifts role is onsite in Fountain Inn, SC. Compensation starts at $23.75 and ranges to $40.85 per hour, depending on experience. The technician supports Teknor Apex’s manufacturing operation and Plant Maintenance team, which helps deliver customized compound solutions. The technician installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs electrical and mechanical plant equipment. By completing preventive maintenance, documenting work, and supporting safe equipment operation, the role helps keep production equipment functioning and supports manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Follow safety procedures
• troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, plastic extruders, and other production equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and document work orders in CMMS software
• use electrical test equipment and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, motor drives, and PLC systems
• read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and maintenance shop tools
• assist in training entry-level team members
• maintain housekeeping in the plant and shop.
