Dental Assistant

What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
• welcome patients and help them feel comfortable
• assist the doctor with procedures, suction, and instruments
• take and document intraoral photographs
• chart treatment and patient information
• prepare study casts and temporary restorations
• clean removable appliances
• sterilize instruments
• maintain clean rooms and follow OSHA and infection-control guidelines
• answer patient questions.
