The Direct Support Professional — All Shifts role is onsite in Lakewood, OH, and pays $17 per hour base, with opportunities to earn up to $18 per hour based on driver’s license status and Med Cert I. New Avenues to Independence supports people with disabilities in residential homes and day programs and promotes choice and independence. The professional provides person-centered assistance with daily living and community participation, helping individuals build independence and pursue personal goals. The role works with a team to implement individualized care plans and foster social and emotional well-being.

What you'll do

• Provide person-centered support in residential homes and day programs
• assist with personal care, meals, cleaning, shopping, medication management, and medical appointments
• plan and participate in activities and outings
• build supportive relationships

Why this role

Multiple shifts are available, with full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. High school diploma or GED and a valid Ohio driver’s license with four points or fewer are required; CPR/First Aid and Med Cert I are preferred, with training available.
