Press Brake Operator — Swing Shift

The operator sets up and runs machinery to fabricate metal sheets and plates, following job orders and blueprints while meeting safety and quality requirements. The work contributes to production by ensuring formed parts meet specifications and are documented appropriately.

What you'll do

• Read and follow job orders and blueprints
• comply with OSHA safety and health rules
• set up and operate machinery for bending and roll forming metal sheets or plates
• install and align dies and rolls
• adjust guides, stops, voltage, and feed speeds
• feed metal into machines
• verify finished dimensions using visual checks or measuring tools
• remove finished parts
• and follow Astec safety and housekeeping policies.
