The Data Scientist II – Biomedical Informatics role is onsite in Rockville, MD. Compensation is $130,000 to $145,000 per year. The position develops reusable bioinformatics workflows and data products across multi-omics, clinical, imaging, and biospecimen data. What you'll do

  • Design, build, and maintain reproducible biomedical data pipelines
  • develop reusable transformations and curated datasets
  • support bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing and Digital Spatial Profiling analyses
  • manage data ingestion, curation, metadata, mappings, schemas, provenance, and lifecycle needs
  • apply statistical and machine-learning methods
  • build or support dashboards, notebooks, reports, APIs, and visualizations
  • collaborate with researchers, developers, and government stakeholders.
