Medical Assistant This is an onsite, full-time position in Olathe, KS, with no nights, on-call, weekends, or holidays. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs, preparing exam and treatment rooms, giving injections, assisting with lab testing and phlebotomy, and assisting physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with the necessary instruments for your patients including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
• Answer telephone calls to the practice and screens for referral

What we're looking for

Education

High School Graduate / GED

Experience

One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
