Warehouse Manager — Food Manufacturing

Compensation is $0 per year. The Warehouse Manager role is onsite in Burgaw, NC. The warehouse supports production and shipment of raw sweet potatoes, packaging materials, ingredients, and finished sweet potato fries. The manager oversees receiving, storage, inventory, staging, and shipping to support production while maintaining food safety, product quality, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The role also supervises warehouse employees and coordinates with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Logistics to help prevent material shortages and warehouse delays.

What you'll do

• Manage receiving, storage, staging, picking, and shipping
• oversee handling of raw sweet potatoes and finished fries
• coordinate movement of materials and packaging to production
• maintain inventory, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and lot traceability
• stage and load customer shipments and verify quantities, lot numbers, product condition, and documentation
• maintain compliance with applicable GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, FDA, and customer requirements
• supervise, train, and schedule warehouse employees
• monitor safety, productivity, and equipment operation.
