Traveling Aircraft-on-Ground Technician (A&P) is an onsite, travel-based role based in West Palm Beach, FL. The stated annual salary is $80,000–$135,000, plus on-call and deployment premiums. Ventura Air Services is establishing an in-house aircraft-on-ground response capability for its on-demand charter operation. The technician deploys on short notice to troubleshoot and repair aircraft at outstations, return aircraft to service, and keep Maintenance Control informed. The role also supports scheduled maintenance, coordinates parts and vendor work, and documents maintenance activity for the company’s Challenger 604 and Citation 560XL fleets.

What you'll do

• Deploy on short notice to aircraft-on-ground events, including nights, weekends, and holidays on rotation
• troubleshoot, repair, and return aircraft to service
• provide status and return-to-service estimates to Maintenance Control
• perform operational checks
• document work in Jet Insight
• support MEL/NEF evaluations
• represent Ventura during vendor maintenance
• inspect and accept parts
• perform line maintenance and maintain tooling and deployment readiness.

Why this role

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required; minimum five years of corporate/business aviation maintenance experience; direct experience on Challenger 604/CF34 or Citation 560XL/PW545 required; valid driver’s license and passport; on-call rotation and multi-day deployments.
