The Test Engineer II role is onsite in Longmont, CO, supporting ASI’s Commercial Landscaping division. Compensation is $74,200–$98,031 per year. The role focuses on improving the reliability and release readiness of the M.52 autonomous commercial mower. The engineer owns and evolves simulation regression, autonomy hardware-in-the-loop testing, physical robot validation, and run-in procedures for new and rebuilt machines. Through Python tooling, field troubleshooting, and structured testing, the role helps teams assess system behavior, identify risks, and build confidence in machine and software releases.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate multi-week release validation cycles
• maintain and extend the simulation regression suite
• maintain and debug the autonomy hardware-in-the-loop system
• build Python test infrastructure and tooling
• establish run-in procedures and acceptance criteria for new and rebuilt machines
• investigate field issues and turn them into regression tests
• test the mobile app end to end against the robot
• and establish test procedures and documentation.
