Reading and Math Tutor

The Reading and Math Tutor role is onsite at Sylvan Learning of Omaha’s Northwest Omaha location. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. The tutor provides one-on-one academic support in a personalized learning environment.

What you'll do

• Facilitate personalized learning programs
• build rapport with students to support academic confidence
• coordinate and conduct student and parent reviews
• maintain accurate progress records
• and advocate the Sylvan Learning philosophy. The schedule requires two after-school afternoons or evenings Monday through Thursday from 4:30–6:30 p.m. and at least one Saturday morning per month from 9:15–11:45 a.m.
• Saturday need is currently limited.
