What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of Florida workers’ compensation matters
• evaluate claims, medical records, wage information, and benefits
• develop case strategies and advise clients
• draft and file petitions, motions, discovery, and responses
• conduct and defend depositions
• attend mediations, hearings, and conferences
• negotiate with opposing counsel and insurers
• prepare cases for final hearings
• communicate with clients
• meet deadlines and procedural requirements
• collaborate with legal team members
• monitor changes in Florida law.
