Responsibilities include demonstrating responsibility and accountability in CT scans, completing patient documentation, assisting physicians, performing scans efficiently, positioning patients, observing safety regulations, maintaining scanner knowledge, and utilizing knowledge of age-specific needs.

What you'll do

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's orders in accordance with the department and organizational standards and policies.
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans.
• Assist Physicians and Radiologist during procedures.
• Performs CT scans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
• Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed.
• Performs all computer and PACS functions.
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures.
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patient in performance of duties and responsibilities.
