Summer Legal Intern

The Summer Legal Intern role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with two onsite days each week and Wednesdays required onsite. Pay is $20 per hour. The intern contributes to the legal team's work by researching and summarizing legal and regulatory developments, assisting with contract and intellectual property matters, and supporting policy work and department projects. This provides attorneys and legal professionals with research, writing, document-management, and administrative support across several practice areas.

What you'll do

• Research and organize trademark and copyright materials and review licensing documents
• assist attorneys with business agreements
• research legislation, regulations, and legal developments and summarize findings
• research topics for organizational policy development
• monitor state legislative and regulatory activity and prepare briefing materials
• assist with document review, editing, filing, database maintenance, presentations, and other legal department projects.
