Mobile Building Engineer

Job overview

The Mobile Building Engineer role is onsite across multiple work sites in the Nashville, TN region, with up to 100% travel within the region. Pay is $29.50 per hour. ABM Industries provides facilities services, and this role supports maintenance at job sites and facilities. The role exists to keep building systems and property safe and operational through preventive and reactive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and work-order follow-up. It also supports emergency response and service quality for tenants, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance and repairs involving mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and other equipment or structures
• conduct rounds and inspections
• respond to spills and emergencies
• complete work orders and maintain service records
• perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, wall and flooring repairs, and limited extermination
• maintain tools and safe, clean work areas
• participate in standby emergency coverage.
