What you'll do

• Assign drivers to loads and trucks to dispatch
• dispatch throughout the day
• schedule drivers and PTO
• monitor electronic logs, hours of service, inspections, and safety alerts
• conduct ride-alongs and observations
• coordinate equipment maintenance
• enter and review payroll
• report accidents
• monitor testing and training programs
• retain paperwork
• hire and train drivers
• and cover routes as needed.
