Job overview

The Senior Applications Engineer role is onsite five days per week in Danvers or Fiskdale, MA, with a stated salary range of $110,000–$140,000 per year. The engineer leads technical solutions for customer applications and supports implementation by evaluating manufacturability, shaping tooling and process strategies, and coordinating cross-functional expertise. The role connects customer requirements with practical production plans, cost models, and risk-reduction work.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate customer silicone rubber and plastic applications for manufacturability
  • identify and lead tooling, automation, injection molding, and risk-reduction strategies
  • collaborate with mold-making, equipment, automation, quality, and materials experts
  • develop cost models, margin recommendations, and quotation strategies
  • lead design-for-manufacturing activities using SolidWorks and other listed technologies
  • guide prototyping and technical risk reduction
  • lead cross-department handoffs and represent applications engineering in customer reviews.
