The Chain Mechanic role is onsite in Attleboro, MA, with hours Monday–Thursday, 5 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour. LeachGarner manufactures and distributes precious-metal products and jewelry chain, with a focus on quality, reliability, and responsible manufacturing. The mechanic sets up, operates, and maintains specialized chain-making equipment to produce fine jewelry chains. The role supports consistent craftsmanship and safe production by calibrating machinery, inspecting output, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining production and quality records.

What you'll do

• Set up, calibrate, and operate chain-making machines
• perform changeovers, adjustments, and production start-ups
• handle fine wire and precious materials
• inspect chains with precision measuring tools
• monitor production quality and consistency
• troubleshoot mechanical issues
• perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• maintain production, quality, and maintenance records
• keep the work area clean and organized.

Why this role

Requires chain-mechanic experience with precious metals and hands-on experience making French Rope chain. Experience operating lathes, grinders, and Bridgeport mills is required; high school diploma or GED is required.
