Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Canandaigua, NY. Compensation is $19 per hour. The technician supports Ontario Center, a long-term care facility focused on residents’ care and quality of life. The role maintains facility spaces and equipment so they remain safe, functional, and ready for residents and staff. It responds to maintenance requests, assists with building systems and room repairs, and follows applicable state, federal, and OSHA standards.

What you'll do

• Assist with facility and equipment inspections
• assist with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installation and repairs
• respond to staff and resident maintenance requests
• repair and maintain vacated rooms
• troubleshoot and repair equipment
• keep equipment clean and working
• perform work in accordance with state, federal, and OSHA standards. Rotating off-hour and weekend on-call availability is required.
