Loss Control Associate — Transportation Safety

The Loss Control Associate role is onsite in Grand Junction, CO. Compensation is $75,000–$96,000 per year, depending on experience. The position provides loss control and safety services to Mountain West Insurance clients, particularly in transportation and also across property, general liability, and workers’ compensation coverage. The role helps acquire and retain accounts and reduce client losses through safety surveys, risk and loss analysis, resources, and training assistance. Working with producers and account, management, and claims colleagues, the associate anticipates client needs, supports carrier recommendations and compliance, and responds to client questions; extensive travel is required.

What you'll do

• Provide safety surveys, safety resources, risk and loss analysis, and training assistance
• support account acquisition and client retention
• facilitate agency and client relations, including industry-specific discussions with clients, producers, and carriers
• assist with carrier safety recommendations and standards compliance
• respond to client loss-control needs
• use EPIC and follow agency workflows
• manage workload and client response times
• travel extensively.
