The Program Manager role is onsite in Montgomery, AL. Compensation is $135,000–$140,000 per year. The position supports Air Force maintenance and logistics systems programs for Citizant, a provider of professional IT services to the U.S. government. The manager leads program execution, contract performance, and coordination across Agile teams and government stakeholders. The role helps deliver modernization, sustainment, and enhancement initiatives while managing resources, risks, schedules, budgets, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary interface with government leadership and stakeholders
• manage contract performance, staffing, quality, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction
• oversee workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and resource allocation
• manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
• direct performance reporting, contract deliverables, and communications
• coordinate multiple Agile teams and supported systems
• oversee SAFe and Agile execution, PI planning, and release planning
• align priorities, resources, and delivery schedules
• ensure contractual, organizational, cybersecurity, and quality compliance
• lead continuous improvement
• support strategic planning, customer engagement, and business growth
• coordinate with government and contractor leadership on modernization, sustainment, and enhancement initiatives.

Why this role

Requires a related bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of program or project management experience, including large, complex software programs and multi-team IT programs of 20+ personnel. Must be local to Montgomery, AL, a U.S. citizen, and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance, PMP, and relevant SAFe credentials are preferred.
